MILD

M.I.L.D. (Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream, Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams)

The MILD technique allows you to have and remember many lucid dreams during the night by repeating your intent to do so as you fall asleep.
Many people have their first Lucid Dream the first time they heard about lucid dreaming. This phenomenon is similar to the Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream.

The MILD technique is one of the simplest lucid dreaming techniques to become awake in a dream, and you can repeat it throughout the night allowing you to have and record many lucid dreams in one night.
The Steps are simple:
  1. Get ready to go to sleep at bedtime in a comfortable position.
  2. Tell yourself repeatedly (quietly or aloud) that: "I will have lucid dreams tonight, and I will wake up after each dream and remember it." Deal with any interruptions if they arise and continue the process of saying this "mantra" until you fall asleep.
  3. Wake up after your lucid dream and write down any keywords in your DJ (dream journal), fill in the detail in the morning, that will help you remember your dream. Do this as quickly as possible. (try not to move too much as you wake up, and if you can't remember anything from your dream then write down how you feel, and maybe words or thoughts in your head at the time.) A small flashlight, cell phone, or voice recorder can be helpful
  4. Repeat Steps two to four after every dream you have.
